API and data access

Glade's pipeline builds structured data about international news. We can offer it to researchers, journalists and teams who follow how different countries' media cover events. It's continuously updated from 43 outlets in 26 countries and covers:

• Events and stories, grouped across outlets and languages, with the outlets and countries covering each.
• The countries involved in each story, and which of their outlets reported it.
• Who said what: statements attributed to named speakers (governments, officials, organisations), each with a short verbatim excerpt, the outlet that carried it, and any agency it credits.
• Where accounts differ between outlets, with the statements on each side.
• Links, headlines (with English translations), publication times and outlet metadata (country, ownership).

It doesn't include the articles' full text, which belongs to their publishers.
